DK Nexus Technologies Ltd (“DK Nexus”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
DK Nexus Technologies Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Registered in England & Wales, company number 17561461. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@dknexus.co.uk.
2. Information we collect
- Enquiry details – when you use our contact form: your name, email address, phone number, company name, company size, the services you are interested in and your message.
- Marketing preferences – whether you have asked to receive occasional updates from us.
- Technical data – our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security purposes. We store a one-way hash of your IP address for a short time to prevent spam.
3. How and why we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide quotes – legitimate interests / steps prior to entering a contract.
- To deliver services to our clients – performance of a contract.
- To send you occasional updates and IT advice, only if you have opted in – consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep our website secure and prevent fraud – legitimate interests.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate contracts, such as our website host, email provider, and customer relationship / email marketing platform. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement) are in place.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last contact unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for the duration of our relationship and up to 6 years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address above. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
7. Cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies. For example, WordPress sets cookies when an administrator logs in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
8. Changes to this policy
